Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Sport Horizon UK Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have. For cookies and similar technologies, we ask for your choice through our cookie banner rather than assuming it from your use of the site.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• "Company" refers to Sport Horizon UK Ltd, registered at 96 First Avenue, Enfield, Middlesex, UK. EN1 1BP.
• "Services" refers to the website www.sporthorizon.co.uk, including our online courses, downloads, and support materials.
• "User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual accessing our website or using our services.
• "Personal Data" means any information that identifies or can be used to identify an individual, such as name, email address, or IP address.

3. What Information We Collect

We collect personal data that you provide to us voluntarily, including when you:

• Sign up for an account or course
• Download free resources
• Fill out a form or survey
• Subscribe to emails or newsletters
• Make a purchase

We may also collect device and usage data automatically, such as:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent
• Referring URLs

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide and manage your access to courses and resources
• Deliver free and paid content
• Communicate updates and support
• Send you emails (only if you opt in)
• Improve the quality and performance of our services

5. Legal Basis (GDPR)

If you are located in the UK or EU, our legal basis for processing your data includes:

• Your consent (e.g. for marketing emails)
• Contractual obligations (e.g. course access)
• Legal compliance
• Legitimate interests (e.g. keeping the site and payments secure, preventing spam and fraud, and understanding how the site is used)
• Your consent, for optional cookies such as Google Analytics (see section 10)

6. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We use the following service providers to run our website and deliver our services:

• Kajabi: website, course hosting, checkout, emails, built-in visit statistics and the AI assistant on our site. If you use the AI assistant, your messages are processed by Kajabi and its technology partners to generate answers.
• Stripe and PayPal: payment processing and fraud prevention
• Google Analytics: website statistics
• Google reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha: protecting our forms and checkout from spam and bots
• Cloudflare: protecting the site from malicious traffic
• YouTube (Google): playing videos embedded on our pages
• SociableKIT: displaying embedded social content and counting how often it is viewed
• CookieScript: recording your cookie choices

Most of these providers process data only on our instructions. Some, such as PayPal, Stripe and Google (including YouTube), also use certain data for their own purposes, such as fraud prevention, under their own privacy policies.

7. International Transfers

Some of our providers are based in, or store data in, countries outside the UK and EEA, including the United States. Where this happens, we rely on recognised safeguards offered by each provider, such as the UK-US Data Bridge, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, or until you request deletion.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your data
• Correct or update your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time, including for cookies, using the cookie icon at the bottom left of every page or your cookie settings
• Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, if you are in the EU, your local data protection authority

To exercise these rights, contact us at: [email protected]

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies, such as local and session storage in your browser. They fall into four groups:

• Strictly necessary: keep the site secure, keep you logged in and process payments (Kajabi, Cloudflare, Stripe, reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha and CookieScript). These are always on because the site cannot work without them.
• Performance: help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it (Google Analytics, Kajabi visit statistics and SociableKIT view counts).
• Functionality: remember settings, such as whether the AI assistant chat window is open.
• Targeting: set by YouTube on pages with embedded videos. Google may use them for its own statistics and advertising.

Your choices. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept all, decline all or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom left of every page, or by opening your cookie settings here. Google Analytics only sets its cookies if you accept Performance cookies.

Kajabi's built-in visit statistics are part of our course platform and run on every visit. They are used only to give us aggregate statistics about how the site is used. If you would prefer not to be included, you can block them in your browser settings or contact us.

For the full list of cookies, what each one does and how long it lasts, select "Show details" in the cookie banner.

11. External Links

Our site may contain links to external websites (e.g., social media profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, with an updated effective date.
